Not enough carbs and too much salt for nursery school children.
A new report by LACORS (Local Authority Co-ordinators of Regulatory Services) looked at 118 nurseries, and found that nursery school children were being fed ‘high levels of salt’, not enough carbohydrates for energy because the children were being fed too much fruit, and ‘inappropriate portion sizes, both too large and too small.’
