Lectures
Nutmeg also deliver lectures and courses. We currently offer a lecture centred on nutrition and a course on recipe analysis.
We can also provide bespoke lectures to suit your needs.
1. Basic food and nutrition for school meals (suitable for all involved in the catering service)
This lecture will cover the 5 main areas below and provide delegates with a basic understanding of the key nutrients found in the DCFS standards. The lecture also looks at how caterers can improve the nutrient content of their dishes and the importance of standardising recipes.

2. Recipe analysis* (suitable for nutritionists, dietitians and those working in school meals)
This course aims to provide delegates with the necessary information to perform a meaningful analysis of standardised recipes. The lecture covers the theories, concepts and pitfalls of nutrient analysis and includes a practical session using the Nutmeg recipe analysis software.
This course is held at the Nutmeg offices in Hammersmith (London) and can accommodate up to 6 delegates.
Nutmeg offers a 20% discount off the cost of the recipe analysis program for delegates attending the recipe analysis course.
